Chehni Kothi may be a secluded and pristine village up within the hills in Jibhi valley. Located at an altitude of about 2145 meters above water level , this village is understood for its two temple towers. consistent with the folklore, the temples are quite 1500 years old. Though there's no written account thereon . Built around 17th century by an area King Dhadhu, the temples also are locally referred to as Dhadhiya Kothi. there's no motorable road to succeed in this place you've got to trek to succeed in this place.
First you'll meet at operator office for a security briefing and tour instructions. Next you'll fix and follow your guide through to a number of the foremost scenic landscapes in surroundings of Jibhi/ Tirthan Valley.After the instruction session you'll proceed for 7 km drive from Jibhi and then one and half hour climb up hill via Baggi (Sharinga Rishai Temple) through the dense deodar forest covers and apple orchards round the small village Chehni. during this trekking you'll have a glimpse of the life during a Mountain Village and a 40-45 Meters high Kath- Kuni sort of Pahadi architecture “CHEHNI KOTHI”.A professional guide are going to be there for you in whole trip.So glimpse of pahari culture ,history behind it and himalayan beauty will make your trek unforgettable .
