Reach Jalsu Pass.
The pass offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the snow-capped peaks of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges.
Arrive at your campsite and rest in.
Dinner at the campsite. Reflect on the day's achievements and enjoy a warm meal in the serene mountain environment.
Wake up early, have a nutritious breakfast at your campsite, and prepare for the day’s trek.
Begin your trek from Jalsu Got to Yara Got.
The trail involves a gradual descent followed by a series of ascents and traverses.
Arrive at Yara Got and continue your trek towards Sarai Village.
Arrive in Sarai Village. This traditional Himachali village offers a glimpse into local life and culture.
Settle into your campsite, and rest.
Have dinner while reflecting on the day's trek and relaxing in the charming village setting.
Wake up early and have breakfast.
Begin your trek from Sarai Village towards Nayagraan.
The trail first leads towards Laka Mata, a small shrine that holds cultural significance in the region.
Continue your hike from Laka Mata towards Nayagraan.
Arrival at Nayagraan marks the end of your trek.
Take some time to relax and soak in the satisfaction of completing the trek.
From here, you will take a taxi to Chamba.
The best time to do the Indrahar Pass Trek is during the late spring to early summer (May to June) and early autumn (September to October). During these months, the weather is generally favorable, with clear skies, mild temperatures, and manageable snow conditions.
The Jalsu Pass trek is considered to be moderate. The terrain is generally less rugged compared to higher-altitude treks.

The temperature during the Jalsu Pass trek varies significantly depending on the time of year and altitude. From April to June, daytime temperatures range from 20°C to 25°C, while at nighttime, temperatures can drop to 5°C to 10°C. In winter, the temperatures drop even more, where daytime temperatures range from 10°C to 20°C, and nighttime temperatures can drop to -5°C to 5°C.
The Jalsu Pass Trek is a low-height pass trek. The highest point of the trek is the Indrahar Pass, and its altitude is approximately 11,286 feet above sea level.
